This Pinot Noir is harvested from low-yielding, close-planted vines grown on the Jurassic dolerite soils unique to Tasmania. Hand-picked whole bunches from MV6 and Pommard clones are meticulously sorted and de-stemmed on-site, followed by a cool temperature fermentation over 10 to 12 days. The wine is basket-pressed to fine French oak barriques (20% new) and matured for 10 months. Bottled without fining or filtration, it remains a pure expression of our terroir.
